Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate financial records, including income, expenses, and transactions
- Reconcile bank statements and financial records to ensure accuracy
- Prepare financial reports such as balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements
- Process payroll, invoices, and manage accounts payable and receivable
- Assist with tax preparation by organizing financial data for tax professionals
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and procedures
- Monitor budgets and provide financial insights to support decision-making
- Collaborate with tax professionals and other staff to provide seamless financial services
Must Have
- Proven experience as a Bookkeeper or in a similar financial role
- Strong knowledge of bookkeeping principles and financial regulations
- Proficiency with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, or similar)
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
- Strong communication skills and a customer-focused mindset
- Experience in the tax industry is a plus
