Job Description:

We are seeking experienced Tax Preparers to fill independent contractor positions with various companies that utilize our tax preparation software. These roles are not with United eFile LLC directly but with our clients who need skilled tax preparers to assist with their tax filing processes. You will work remotely or at specified locations depending on client needs, using United eFile’s advanced software to deliver high-quality tax services.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and file tax returns for individuals and businesses using United eFile’s software.
• Review and analyze financial documents to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Communicate with clients to gather necessary information and provide updates on their tax filings.
• Offer tax planning and advisory services to help clients optimize their tax situations.
• Stay current with tax laws and regulations to provide accurate advice.
• Maintain confidentiality and security of client information.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Tax Preparer or in a similar role.
• Strong knowledge of tax regulations, laws, and procedures.
• Proficiency in tax preparation software; experience with United eFile’s software is advantageous.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Attention to detail and accuracy.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Relevant certifications or qualifications in tax preparation (e.g., Enrolled Agent, CPA) preferred but not required.
